- The Slack Documentation team is preparing for a major upgrade! We’re revamping our API documentation—front-end and back-end—to make your development journey smoother and more intuitive. While these changes won’t go live until Spring 2025, we’re excited to share updates as the project progresses. Keep an eye on the API changelog for all the latest developments and sneak peeks of what’s to come!
- Smarter Form Generation for “Edit Record” Steps in Workflow Builder: We’re excited to announce major updates to the “Salesforce: Update a Record” and “Lists: Update a List Item” steps in Workflow Builder. Now, builders can easily pre-populate form fields with current record values, making it simpler to review and update records. Additionally, related variable suggestions will help you quickly find compatible fields when configuring inputs. These improvements are just the beginning, with plans to expand this experience to more connectors like Jira and Asana in the future!
- Self-Serve Scheduling Now Available for Grid Migrations: We’re thrilled to introduce self-serve scheduling for Grid migrations directly from the Org Admin Dashboard! This feature streamlines and accelerates the process by allowing customers to choose their own migration time, eliminating the need for back-and-forth with internal teams. Now, customers can manage their migrations from start to finish, empowering them to move to Grid faster. This functionality is now available to 100% of customers.
