- Lists just got a big upgrade!
We’ve added three powerful new features to make task management in Slack even better: Default Task Tracking Fields – New lists now come with assignee, due date, and completed fields, making it easier to track tasks. Subtasks – Break down big tasks into smaller ones, complete with assignees and due dates. Programmatic Reminders – Get automatic alerts for upcoming or overdue tasks, or share summaries in channels. Try them out and stay on top of your to-dos!
- A smarter way to organize your channels 🎉
Joining a new channel just got easier! With our new channel join banner, you can quickly organize your sidebar and set notification preferences in just a couple of clicks—keeping your workspace neat and clutter-free.
✨ Key highlights: Available on desktop (mobile coming soon!). Appears only when joining a new channel. Easily opt out in Preferences → Home.
